Nike Pro Catchers Gear

One of the most popular brands of catcher’s gear produced by Nike is the Pro Gold brand as each piece of equipment is made from top of the line materials and features many important catching innovations at a price level that beats many of its competitors. The Chest Protector is built for high performance with padding made from dual-density energy padding that helps slow down rebounds and allows for baseballs to remain closer to home plate. The padding within the Precision is ultra light and has a ventilation system to ensure that the catcher becomes cooler and a quick rate. The design of the harness was made with catchers in mind as it has increased the flexibility while keeping a stable and comfortable fit.

The Leg Guards are made with a precision protection system that shifts coverage to the medial side of catcher’s knee, adding reinforcement to parts of guard that get down in the dirt. The leg guards also contain lateral vents to allow cooling air flow and reduced weight. Lastly, the Pro Gold Helmets draw inspiration from a hockey mask and feature a contoured facemask to allow the catcher to have greater visibility of the entire field without sacrificing comfort and protection. One neat feature of this helmet is that the inside cage is made from camo cage technology allowing the inside to give a tinted color. The ABS shell provides extra protection in the head area, and the dual density foam padding on the inside provides ultimate comfort.
